Well, the long awaited day finally arrived yesterday. Devyn lost her first tooth. We were all convinced that the baby teeth were going to need to be pulled because the adult teeth are already in behind a couple of them. The dentist assured us they would come out on their own in their own time. And he was right! Needless to say, Devyn was so excited at the prospect of becoming rich from the tooth fairy that sleep was a long time coming. She finally went to sleep and awoke to $2 this morning. I wish $2 could make me as excited as she was! I guess I was pretty excited that she was able to buy her own Otis Spunkmeyers after swim lessons today.
Now Caleb lost a tooth today. The tooth fairy will be back again tonight after she digs through the couch pillows and under the car seats for change. Devyn has two more loose teeth. I'm going to encourage her not to wiggle them until after pay day!
